NOTE
1. Tracks and sectors are formed on any disk when formatted .These sectors may become corrupted.This causes problems in retrieving the data in that sector .Computer gives mesage Error reading Drive or a similar message SCANDISK can be used to fix these errors in a disk.Scandisk checks for the corrupted area called as BAD SECTORS and possibly fixes it . If that disk is not full , scandisk can move data in bad sector to safe sector on a disk and it can mark bad sector so that data cannot be stored in that sector.
2. Floppy should not be formatted regularly. 9 to 10 formats to a single floppy makes it dead .
